Tom Atherton graduated from Birmingham University in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in Money, Banking and Finance. He became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1995 and held a number of senior finance positions in listed and private equity backed UK businesses before joining Dairy Crest Group plc in 2005. In 2013 he was appointed Group Finance Director and became a member of the Board of Dairy Crest Group plc. In 2016 he was appointed Chairman of the Frylight business within the Dairy Crest Group and in 2018 became Dairy Crest Deputy CEO. Following the acquisition of Dairy Crest by Saputo in April 2019, he was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of Saputo Dairy UK.
Appointed as an Executive Director in July 2016, Adam joined Dairy Crest in 2002 and has held a number of senior management positions within the business. He was appointed Group Commercial Director in April 2013. Adam is also a Trustee of GLF Schools.
Appointed as Company Secretary in September 2018. Roger is a chartered accountant who has worked for Dairy Crest since 1996. His previous positions have been Group Financial Controller, Director of Financial Control and Director of Corporate Development (from 2006 to 2018). Prior to joining Dairy Crest, he worked for Price Waterhouse for 13 years.
Chris graduated from Manchester University in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in Business and Management. He held a number of HR and Procurement positions in global consumer goods organisations before first joining Dairy Crest in 2009. Having held several management roles in procurement and milk supply chain, Chris left the business in 2014 to lead the UK arm of a niche management consulting firm. He then re-joined in 2016 and now has responsibility for procurement, milk supply and dairy ingredients trading in his role as Group Procurement Director.
Robert joined Dairy Crest in 2006 as HR Director, Dairies from The Maersk Company where he was Director of Human Resources. He was appointed to his current role in April 2013.
Mark joined Dairy Crest in 1998 as a General Manager within the Cheese business. He has held a number of different roles across the Cheese, Milk and Spreads functions, leading major site transformation projects and performing various Operations Director and Supply Chain Director roles. Prior to Dairy Crest he spent 22 years in the biscuit & confectionery industry.
Mark was appointed to the role of interim Manufacturing Director in July 2019 to help the business integrate with Saputo and develop its future organisational structure.
